INSANE MEGA BLOG POST!!

Wowza. I never stick to something huh.. it's been ages since I have posted and well a lot of fun stuff has happened in that time.. so this blog is going to be mega BIG and is going to be filled of lots of fantastical and maybe not so exciting news! :)

PUSSY CAT DOLLS CONCERT.
okay so last Tuesday (26th May) I attended the PCD concert with my cousin Sharon. Firstly it was a nightmare to find parking.. I am definitely the type of person who has to watch a concert from the VERY START.. i'm talking about seeing the opening act and everything and if I miss it I get upset. So anyways we found a park and got in just in time. As you know Lady Gaga was the opener and she was amazing. That women sounds just as good live.. even better. She plays the piano too. I mean yeah I love her songs and I think she is genuinely talented but to me she comes across as trying far too hard. Some of the things she was saying was just beyond absurd. For example whilst on stage she said something along the lines of "People say Lady Gaga is a lie." the sound of a thousand tween fans can be heard booing around the arena.. "Lady Gaga is a lie... but I will KILL to make it the truth" to which the tweens erupt in cheering. And then it dawns on me.. WOW everyone is sheeps.. do they realise that she is talking murder hello don't people realise that they are condoning the act of killing. Ah she is definitely one crazy and slightly f*****-up woman.

After her show I was very excited to see PCD because although they are quasi-stripper-whores I do find their music very light-hearted fun that you enjoy singing along to and bopping with. Unfortunately for us there was only four dolls there.. one (jessica) was sick. but it was funny cause it didnt make much difference since the only really needed member of the group is Nicole who by the way is even more stunning in person. Anyway the concert was just as it was supposed to be fun, sexy and great! I loved it. I love concerts because nothing beats a good concert atmosphere. :)
MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2009 RECAP.
The awards this year were completely and utterly TWI-CRAZY. Twilight won 5 out of 7 of its nominations including Best Kiss, Best Breakthrough Male Performance, Best Female Performance, Best Fight and Best Movie. It is clear that twi mania has spread like swine-flu (haha pun intended) around the world and most importantly we got to see the first glimpse of the New Moon trailer which might I add looks INSANELY GOOD. I can tell that I am going to need to bring some kleenex for the break-up scene since Im a whiny little bitch! Oh and one of the girls at the Rpattz IMDB message board picked up on this funny little detail from the trailer:




Seems that Bella is trying to win over Jacob with some saucy new pink underwear ;)

The host of this years awards, Andy Samberg, is hilarious, seriously love The Lonely Island. Although I must admit that the show could have been a lot more funny.. I personally think. Oh and can anyone clarify if the Bruno/Eminem debarcle was a stunt or was it unplanned? Eminem seemed pretty pissed. Also does anyone else have a strong detest for Megan Fox. Lately she has been so cringe-worthy and at the awards it only proved this right.. that girl needs to get off her high-horse and realise that the only reason she is big in hollywood is because she was a)in transformers and b)looks like a sluttier less classy version of angelina jolie!

Lol okay so aside from that little rant.. Rpattz was looking his usual beautiful dishevelled self and poor baby didn't even do his buttons up properly. I'll admit that I am completly biased because it doesn't even bother me.. I think he looks adorkable!


ADVENTURELAND.
Yesterday I went and saw Adventureland in the cinemas... and I LOVED it. It was great. The film is a like a sweet teen romantic comedy with a slight seriousness and an undercurrent indie-type vibe. This film features Kristen Stewart and the loveable hunk-a-spunk Ryan Reynolds.. who Kristen gets to frequently make out with!!! Anyway the film is a really great story that I would be happy to see again. Kristen was amazing in it, she captured her character 'Em' so beautifully that as a viewer you feel emotionally attatched to Em and really feel for her. The movie shows how sometimes you are so un-used to feeling any kind of love and when love comes your way you are so afraid of losing it that you turn your back on it. Great movie everyone should go see it!
